synthesis of samples site locations for multiple studies used in the super-old
growth study.

Spatial accuracy of points is unknown. When comparing site locations to USFS
harvest unit coverage, it was apparent that some points do not reside within the
appropriate clearcuts, but in most cases points were within ~20 meters of what
seemed to be the correct harvest unit. This is based on the assumption that the
harvest unit coverage is accurate, which is also unknown.
These point locations were digitized from manually-created mylar maps. The original
maps were registered to USGS 7.5 minute topo maps. Spatial accuracy is unknown.

dbf file derived from fire chronology created by Peter Weisberg was joined
to the shapefile. A new shapefile was then created to make fire chronology
attributes a permanent part of the attribute table.
